The perfect printer for the hobbyist or moonlighter, the SG500 fits comfortably on a desktop, and prints on media up to 8.5"  x 14" (22 x 36 cm).  The SG500 has the compact footprint and rugged reliability of its predecessor, the SG400, but has been updated from the inside out. In addition to design improvements such as a single roll-bar, the SG500 is more energy-efficient, prints with higher resolution, and offers WiFi connectivity.  This means you’ll enjoy higher quality products and greater ease of use, at a price comparable to the previous model.

VersiFlex Inks and Media

VersiFlex is a wide spectrum media and ink solution for garment decoration and hard surface decoration using their trusted printers - SG500 and SG1000.   It works with their existing turnkey online design software MySawgrass and RIP/print management Sawgrass Print Utility software. With this process you can transfer onto metal, cotton, leather, faux leather, ceramics, wood, metal and more.   Can also transfer onto sublimation blanks and polyester shirts without needing a separate printer, shaker, ventilation system etc.

Ensuring the colors you get are the colors you want.  Because different substrate materials and transfer papers affect the way colors appear on sublimated items, it’s important to adjust the ink output to ensure optimal quality. Sawgrass Print Utility is a software utility that automatically makes those adjustments for you.  Sawgrass Print Utility works in the background, managing the flow of color information from your digital artwork to your Sawgrass printer. This reduces wasted ink (saving you money), and ensures the colors on your finished products are as accurate and vibrant as possible.
